Here is a summary of Guatemala's Geography

Guatemala is a country in Central America with many geographical wonders, including lakes, mountains, and volcanoes. It is bordered by Mexico to the north, El Salvador and Honduras to the north, and Belize to the northeast. Guatemala is a dominantly mountainous country and is home to 37 volcanoes. Sadly, there are numerous earthquakes due to the volcanoes. The volcanoes have also caused destruction to towns and areas near them. It is also a limestone Plateau. 

Guatemala has an area of 108,889 square kilometers, to compare this to a US state, it is slightly smaller than Tennessee. It has a large coastline of 400 kilometers. The Coastline on the east touches the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Honduras. On the west, the Coastline touches the Atlantic Ocean. Some natural resources of this country are petroleum and wood. The highest point in Guatemala is Volcán Tajumulco, which stands at 4,211 meters tall. The lowest point of Guatemala is the Pacific Ocean, which stands at 0 meters tall. 14.2% of Guatemala’s land is arable, meaning that they are used for farming. 8.82% of the country’s land is permanent farming, which means that they are used for farming crops that are not planted every year, like most crops on farms.
